WE WANTED A BETTER DOG TREAT, SO WE MADE ONE .
We decided to make Calvin’s Craft Cookies because we love pups, we love beer, and we hate wasting stuff.
By using upcycled brewer’s grains and simple, human-grade ingredients, we created a snack that was better for our dogs and better for the environment.
Our cans are recyclable, we don’t use any meat or poultry products, and we source our high-quality whole grains from craft breweries. The result is a tasty, nutritious, and sustainable treat your pup will surely dig.
But most importantly, we also wanted to make the world a better place. That's why we donate 15% of our proceeds to animal rescue groups so they can help pups in need.
It's time for a better dog treat. It's time for Calvin's Craft Cookies.
A lifelong serial entrepreneur and former investment banker, Eric was motivated to find a way to utilize the massive amounts of spent grains and reduce waste from the craft brewery boom in Charlotte.
Our innovative packaging is a result of Eric's ingenuity, which is a fancy way of saying his brain never shuts off.
A woman of many talents and former veterinary surgical nurse, Sheera saw the opportunity to make a difference in dogs' lives by using her knowledge and baking skills to formulate a healthier treat.
Sheera came up with our name, then promptly decided to spend an insane amount of time creating our logo.
Calvin is a miniature dachshund mix with a scruffy beard and a taste for adventure. He and his sister Maya were rescued at a young age from RUFF - Rescue Ur Forever Friend. Calvin loves his job as the Cookie Boss, and hopes to one day have an entire Cookie Empire.
Maya is Calvin's biological sister and cookie advisor. As our most scrupulous taste tester, she has the final say on all recipe decisions. When she isn't napping under a pile of soft blankets, Maya enjoys chasing laser pointers and tearing apart her toys.
DeAngelo is a rescue pup from an animal shelter in South Carolina. He is a Bluetick Coonhound mix and has the "baying" hound bark to prove it! D loves playing with his toys, giving high-fives for treats (but only with his right paw), and taking couch naps.
